Decatur County, IN Partners With Brewery On $100K Sand Volleyball Court Project

The Challenge
The Economic Development Corporation of Greensburg - Decatur County discovered that a local brewery sought grant funding for its plans to grow business revenue. How could they help the brewery make a strong pitch to Visit Greensburg, the local DMO, and secure funding for the project?
The Outcome
Tree City Brew Co. used Placer dwell time and YoY demand data to secure $49k in grant funding, 108% ($53k) of which the owner matched for enhancements, including professional floodlighting, additional parking and an outdoor stage. The courts will open in April before the solar eclipse event.
